My mother has been having severe headaches that appear over her eye and then the white part of her eye turns completely blood red. She can barely open her eyes and welts are now appearing up and down her face. This has been going on since July and she has been to the eye doctor 5 times but no help. She just had her optical nerve removed and tested (the specialist thought it was something else) but it came back negative for what they were looking for. She was on prednizone 60mg day, and the redness, headaches, and welts, went away but the doctor took her off it when the test came back on her optical nerve as negative. Today (2 days without the prednizone) the symptoms are coming back. Please help.....we are at our wits end!!!!!!!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
