My son is now a little over 2 years old and he was diagnosed with H.D. when he was 10 weeks. He had a colostomy, then the pull through surgery, but he still has issues with his colon. His entire left side is out, which is a very significant amount. He has been in and out of the hospital a total of 12 or 13 times since the last surgery (and those were all a minimum of 2 night stays). He just left the hospital yesterday and the day before that they did a botox injection into his anal muscles to get them to loosen up a bit, also anal motonetry and a scope. He now cries every time he passes gas and he is barely pooping. We aren't sure we found the answer for him, but we do know there are other options. We keep hearing about certain diets and medicines, but our G.I. doctor just doesn't seemed concerned enough(yes, we are going to switch doctors). We want to know more options when we go to his follow-up next week so we have more suggestions to put on the table. Anything helps, so please offer whatever you may know!!! Thank you so much for reading this!! :)Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
