My mom off and on has had problems with a bad taste in her mouth off and on for a few months.
About three weeks or so she almost died as her potassium was a 8, low blood pressure, heart rate 20 and a few other compluations.
She is on dialysis. She could not have it as her port clogged up and with the combo of things she had to have a temporary pace maker and other stuff.
Since she has had no taste..... Can't keep anything down.... Food does not taste good.
She has seen a Dr. But that is as far as it goes they don't know much.
Even water doesn’t taste good.
I think they looked at what she was taking for meds but that is as far as it got to see if that might be the problem.
Does any one have any suggestions?
