I had breast reduction surgery on October 31,2008. 2 weeks after surgery i got an infection.everywhere i had a suture, opened with sores and puss, the burning was so painful and it was very tender.I was hospitalized twice and was on home health with IV meds. The flesh eating bacteria will not go away.I have been working with a disease specialist to try to get the right antibiotics and nothing seems to be working.Right now I have a hole in my breast the size of a quarter and all thats being done at the moment is bloodwork and cultures.my breast are very tender and there are craters everywhere.i have spots that were covered back over with a thin layer of skin and its disfigured.i have come to the point where the doctors dont have to drain the boils i do it myself because i know that heat draws the infection to the surface and it erupts.we are at a standstill and im scared.the next alternative is to remove more of my breast to try to get rid of this flesh eating bacteria.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
