well. what can i say im an ordanary girl with pulmonary hypertension i was diagnosed when i was 11. ever since then i have had every 3 months at the hospital regular blood check and about 5 operations. And some times it can be anoying. but befor i was 11 i had a hole in one of my arteries, this was found when i was 6 mounths old i had a operation at 18 months to have it clamped. i was on medication for a while but then that stopped. when that was over i was just a little girl doing my own thing like we do, intill i turned 11 thats when i had the clamp removed and had a ducked fitted. this is when i found out that i had pulmonary hypertension. i was put on one medication but it did not agree with me thats when i was sent to Great Ormond Street Hospital. here i found out everything i needed to know about pulmonary hypertension, over the last 5 years i have beed on 4 different tablets and taken 8 a day.
Pulmonary Hypertension it a heart and lung disease, it puts pressure on the lungs.
i wanted to share my medical story with you as i know it can be hard having a disabilaty, i really just wanted to know about other peoples feeling as sometimes i get confused about mine and have no where to turn sometimes. hopfully i can find some other people with the same condition or similar to talk to.
