hello all, i am 25 i have hydradenitis supertiva( spelling may be wrong), had surgery twice since 8/16/06 for this disease. i just took a blood test and the results were that my a1c is 6.6 which my doctor told me i have to lower it because this is high for me due to the fact my mother has diabetes. my vitamine D level is a 10 and the doctor said the normal is between 40 and 50 so now i have to take 1200iu supplements of vitamine D and i am at high risk for heart disease. I have a problem with my ankle since last year and it still has not healed i am now in physical theropy for it . i am 5'6 and 168 lbs. i joined the gym this week and my suger will be test again in 3 months to see what my levels are. :( i am married and hope to have kids one day, it just seems like my medical history is getting worst as i get older. if any one can give me some tips on how to eat like a diabetic i would be very happy, thank you :DReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
