Multiple symptoms driving me crazy -- coincidence or related to some condition?

Around 12/1/12 I started noticing a pulsating "buzzing" in my right ear. I only heard it at night while watching t.v. or on computer. Noticed that sound would go away when turned head to the side or tilted back; sound pitch went higher when putting chin toward chest. Also, if I put slight pressure on the right side of my neck, right below my skull, the sound stops.
About 2 wks after noticing this I developed a headache that turned into a nasty migraine in a matter of minutes. Along with the migraine came vision problems.
Since this happened I have had pains in my neck (always on right side) at the base of my skull. Then comes the headache on the right side & behind the right eye. Before all of this happened I rarely took ibuprofen & now I take at least 2 a day (I try not to take any but headaches get bad). I use a heating pad on my neck & that helps relieve some of the pain so I can sleep.
Today the noise in my ear has been going all day, non-stop & seems to have gotten louder -- it's annoying!
Every where I look on the internet only goes for one symptom so I'm not sure if everything happening is just a coincidence & they are separate conditions or if they are all part of one condition.
I do have high cholesterol that is being kept in check by Crestor & I have a doctors appt on Jan 11. for cholesterol check.
Any ideas on what possibly might be going on would be greatly appreciated. Wondering if should call doctor & see about getting in earlier for this problem or if it could wait until Jan 11.
