multiple problems

In the last 3 years I have had a partial thyroidectomy (removal of a nodule), a stroke, have been diagosed w/ anti-phospholipid syndrome, Hashimoto thyroiditis and most recently Lupus. I have also had a sever bout of shingles on my face, muscle cramping and weakness, and severe pain in my salivary glands (possible salivary stones). I am trying to link everything and I know about the connection between auto-immune diseases, but what do I make of the shingles, muscle weakness and salivary issues? Any suggestions or thoughts would really help.

  • Poor you.The only bit I can tell you is that the shingles is due to you being run down after all your other problems. The virus that causes it has been residing in yourcells since you had chicken pox just waiting until your defences are low so that it can join in and make you really miserable.I hope you feel better soon
