I have a problem with my eyes since 2000. On occasion, when I sneeze one or both of my eyes swell to such a degree it is not possible to see the eye lashes.(About once a fortnight now). It looks as though the skin is filled with fluid.
After the sneeze but before the swelling occours I get an itching sensation around my eyelids. After my eye/eyes have swollen I feel extremely tired and sleep on average for 4-6 hours. The swelling usually lasts about 24 hours.
There is no common denominator for the incidents though. It can happen any time of year, either in or outdoors, (it even happend in my Doctors surgery once), and in any weather.
My Doctor is still testing for allerges but nothing has turned up yet.
