I have had for the past eight months white streaks on the inside of my cheeks and gums. I also have yellowish patches in my throat and side of my throat. My doctor says this is probably oral lichen planus. Anyone out there that can tell me similar experiences?

  • Both my mother and I were misdiagnosed on our lichens,......she had lichens everywhere, including her mouth. They said for years was thrush.....mine was on my vagina and they said yeast infection, "unspecified demititis", folliculitis, etc. We had biopsies to learn we had lichens. I suggest you get one too.Good luck!
