  • Well, first and foremost, go to the doctor. The best treatment for this is freezing (admittedly it is a little different for children). For an at-home remedy, try this:1.) Keep their immune system up (exercise, Orange Juice, Supplements, (a lot of) Vegetables).2.) Don't use cloth towels on the infected area (unless you wash them after every use). Instead, after a shower or bath, try paper towels. Wipe once and then throw away to reduce the risk of spreading.3.)Buy BENZOYL PEROXIDE 10%. This is probably anywhere like a local CVS, Walgreens, Wal Mart, etc. - located in the aisle with acne creams. Make sure it is 10%. Several tests have shown the benefit of Benzoyl. This will dry the are, so make sure you are conscious of the children's skin/area of use and watch for excessive dryness.Good luck and I hope this helps.
