My wife was hospitalised on 2nd Mar 07: Sysmptons-nausea,dizziness.
when i got her to hospital she had all the symptons of Stroke.
She could not speak, and she could not move her right arm or leg.ACATscan revealed there was no stroke, the neurological team say while they dont know what caused this to happen, it could have been brought on by migraine,as she is a sufferer. In four days my wifes speech has returned but the right side of her body is still not moving,ie,dragging her legand her arm not moving.
The doctors sent her home like this on Fri saying they feel her right side should recover? We are at a loss to understand there resoning
Please help

  • The doctors must have seen cases like your wife's in the past. It is very good that they feel she will recover the movement. Did they suggest any kind of therapy? If not, you could check with a physical therapist's office and ask if they treat this kind of condition. Good luck to her!

  • Please find someone that will prescribe an MRI for your wife. She could've had a seizure, and you need to rule out a brain tumor.
