I have been experiencing memory issues; forgetting and thinking I have alreading done something. My boss constantly asks if I am ok because I forget everything. My husband, kids and extended family seems fustrated because I say I will do something and forget. These are simple things that I am forgetting. For example, I was suppose to babysit for sister in law, and completely forgot. I was suppose to arrange dinner plans and completely forgot. Normal routine like when school assignments are due, I remember.

I am concerned this maybe genetics but my husband says, I am only 40 so it is just stress. My life has always been stressed but I have more concerned now than ever about my memory. maybe it is because I am so embarrassed because of the symptoms. I am about to lose my job and I do not know what to do. Any suggestions of what it is?

Are you having trouble mentally in any other areas? I would get checked out for hypothyroidism or a vitamin deficiency. Hypo is pretty common among women and can lead to extreme memory issues, just a thought.
