Many issues hope they are all related.

I don't know if all my issues are all related in some aspect or are separate. I am not the only person with weird or different problems, and I surely won't be the last. I do want to find out what is going on with my body.
As a child around the age of 5ish I had constant ear infections due to drainage. Tubes were added to my inner ear to aid in recovery, and my adenoids were removed. At the age of 13 I was tested for a few days which resulted in a diagnosis of ADD. I received my diagnosis 15 years ago when there were many unknowns. I was sleeping in class, poor attention, organization, and bad grades. I was the first in my class at the age of twelve to shave and go through voice change. The private middle school I attended did not allow facial hair. There was a short month of back pain during the age of 6 to 10 years. Pain flooded my body when I tried to sit upright. After that month it never came back. X rays pointed out part of bone were missing. 5 years ago at the ripe age of 22 I started having bone pain issues in my ankles, and heel. MRI detailed a small hole that was forming in my ankle. 1 year later my knees also started to give me pain. Started taking pain meds as temp remedy. I started going bald around 22 even when most of my family/extended still have their hair. Here and there the past 10 years I have had muscle pain throughout my body for no appropriate reason. I am 27 and I am still taking pain and ADD meds. I still have acne even after constant exfoliating showers. I have flaky skin on most of my body but it’s mostly noticeable around my eye lashes where it is viewable. I have had dandruff as long as I can remember. I have very oily skin. I don't know what a lot of ear wax is but I think I have it due to the constant cleaning. I am a big guy horizontally and vertically, but I am overweight by about 40lbs, and my weight is constantly fluctuating. My biggest issue is the fact that I feel like my IQ has dropped significantly. I think they call it brain fog. I have always associated it with ADD. Reading takes forever due to poor focus, and memory. I have to read homework twice sometimes. Writing a paper is even harder, because I am constantly trying to think of the proper words. When I speak to people I find myself not coming across clearly due to poor word choice, time it takes to remember next thought, time it takes to plan out what I am trying to say. I have had heart palpitations my whole life. Muscle tremors started to affect me 6 years ago. These tremors were on my left eye lid for 1 month. The tremors happen all over my body. I only broke one bone in my body at the age of 4. I have problems sleeping and lose of energy which is a huge factor when I don't take my ADD medicine which is a stimulant. 2 months ago I saw a spot on my body which resembled skin cancer. I go to the bathroom once a day for the most part. My last issue has not happened in over 6 months but I would get blurry vision to the day here and there. I don't know what is regular when talking about feet and hand temperatures. My feet and hands stay cold longer than normal I think. I live in Florida where it is sunny year round and I would still go to sleep sometimes with socks on. I take calcuim/Vit D, Omega 3, B12, Daily Vit, Glucosamine and Condrotin, Biotin and zinc, saw palmetto everyday to negate all these issues.
Family history: Most women have thyroid problems and they are taking daily meds for it. My father is a diabetic. My sister has ADHD. Family has bone, and arthritis problems.
I finally did something about yesterday and had a TSH test performed to check my thyroid. This issues I am having cover all parts of my body so I am finding it hard to nail all these issues to one thing. I should be at the prime of life, but I feel like I am 50 years old. No offense to all of those. I just feel much older than I should be which makes me thing that something is going on in my body.
I am open to any advice. thanks. RyanA

  • I wrote the thread "Many issues hope they are all related," and I forgot to add one other piece of information. I wanted to add one other issue I currently deal with. I crave sugar when I don't take my ADD medicine. I am not talking about one or two cookies. I can and have sat down and ate an entire bag of MandM's, and I am refering to the medium size bag. I could eat the entire bag within a few hours if I had a sugar craving. Just so we know what I am talking about the medium bags can't be bought at conveinent stores. Thanks.

RyanA Hi RyanA, You coiuld certainly be having b12 deficiency problems, despite the fact that yoiu are taking "b12". As that is most likely cyanob12 which is totally ineffective for 30-40% of people and only 1/100 to 1/10,000 as effective as methylb12 for everybody else you can still have severe deficiency while taking it. I did. If you are taking methylb12 chances are you are not taking one of the two effectrive brands or taking it in an effective manner. Come on over to http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?p=204596&posted=1#post204596 and lets discuss all this after you read up on the basics and look at the list of symptoms at http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=62327.
