My Mom (age 67) was diagnosed with cancer just over a month ago. She had surgery(hysterectomy) but the cancer had spread to a few lymph nodes which were removed. However there were two spots left (1 on a nerve in her pelvis and 1 on her aorta). When we visited the doctor she was told it was a Neuroendocrine tumor which was aggressive. The size of the tumors are less than 1 cm. After waiting almost two weeks to find out the exact diagnosis she was told that she had a malignant Neoplasm of the uterus. She is to start chemo next week, along with two other drugs prescribed by her doctor. I am looking for stories of others with this type of cancer.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
