My false positive test caused the love of my life. My doctor said I was tested positive for chlamydia. I told my boyfriend, so he got tested, the result is negative. I havent slept with anyone else for sure. But my boyfriend broke up with me because he thinks I did. He was the love of my life. Losing a beloved person over something I havent done, I cant even describe the pain it caused in words…

  • I was (sort of) on the other side... I went to the ER one night. They had no idea what was wrong with me, but claimed it was either a STD or testicular torsion. After an ultrasound showed no current torsion of the testes, they said I had an STD (but they didn't know what one) and prescribed all sorts of drugs. All this just a week after I'd had a little too much to drink with my best (female) friend and we wound up sleeping together; a move I'd already felt bad about. I'd no sooner worked up the right words to say to her when she told me she was pregnant. Foregoing all the gruesome details, we haven't spoken in over a year, she was not pregnant and I had no STD, but there's so much pain in the situation that we'll probably never speak again...
