My legs hurt (hamstrings, calves and arches of feet), not when I walk, but when I am still, mostly at night (not RLS). The aching and cramping has gotten worse over the last few months. My arms now ache, but the pins and needles, numbness and tingling has stayed about the same. Some twitching in calves and feet. Blood work is fine. Had a C5-C6 acf in 10/03, which relieved protrusion on my spinal cord. These symptoms lasted for a while, but then went away until July of this year (began w leg weakness, but went away). We're wondering if it is a mechanical problem that would only be relieved by surgery or what else? Any thoughts of what else it could be or any thoughts on what I can do for relief other than Flexiril and Hydrocodone? MRI showed little, nothing significant enough for my surgeon to operate or give me a definite answer.
