Left jugular vein stronger than right jugular vein?

I have read that the Jugular vein on the right side should be easier to see than the left. When I lay down with a mirror and a flashlight across my neck I can see my left external jugular vein fill with blood then collapse. Then I look at my right its I can see it fill with blood and collapse but it is obviously weaker then my left. Does anyone know anything about this?
