Hi ! what should I do?
I am 26 year woman and I have two boys 2and half and 10 months. I have accessive hair around my body even around my face which I believe is abnormal . I haven't really seen anyone having hair like I mine (remind you I have olive skin colour). I often feel really bad and embarassed due to hair. Now my kids have lot of amount of hair around their body specially at the back of their neck, back, back of the cheeks as well as upperlips . I am really worried for my children please Help me what should I do . Please help us all . I am really worried and embarrassed.

  • Your hair distribution sounds hereditary, since your boys have it too. It is surely more worrisome to you than to them...I do suggest that you avoid passing your concerns to them. As boys, hopefully they won't be as concerned. Remember, your concerns are greatly magnified. Others will never be as focused on this as you are. You might consider waxing to remove some facial hair if that will relieve your distress. Have you tried this before? It doesn't sound like an endocrine problem. Take care. Marionstar

  • You can't rule out glands/hormones. It could be excessive male hormone, which requires blood work to determine, or it could be heritary. I would go in for electrolysis to help immediately, and look for medical solutions..
