:) Well, I Just Got My Diagnosis Today. He Said I Had Osteoporosis. He Says It Is Severe, I Can't Lift Anything Over 15 Pounds, My Bones Are Very Easy To Break Too. I'm Glad I Finally Got Some News, But That Kind Of News Isn't To Good. I Felt Like I Was Told I Had Cancer. There Is No Cure, Only Pain Meds. What Gets Me Though Is He Told Me All This, And Then Told Me I Could Stiil Work. I Sure Would Like To Know What Kind Of Work You Do In That Kind Of Shape. I Can't Sit, I Can't Walk, I Just Don't Know Anymore. If Anyone Has Any Opinions Please Let Me Know .

  • I had severe osteoporosis for many years. I am a young person and developed the osteoporosis from taking Prednisone for a major skin illness. I had 2 vertebral compression fractures. I've been taking Fosamax for 13 years and my bones have greatly improved. Calcium and vitamin are also important. It's also essential to have weight bearing exercise. Perhaps a physical therapist can help you to find a way to do this. I recommend walking and light weight training. Swimming is a good exercise with no stress on body but is does not build bone. Good luck.
