 I had incisiona hernia repair with mesh and then a tummy tuck 10/1/08. I developed shorteness of breath 3 days after surgery and was readmitted with a Pulmonary Embolim in the right lung and a DVT in an entire vein of the right leg. Then an ileus and seroma of the wound. Several doctors had differing opinions regarding an infection which was an infection.> The plastic surgeon said he was replacing the jp drains on 10/14 and did alot more including cutting away the dead skin, replacing the sutures for larger, stronger sutures, closing openings in the incision and resuturing the belly button. Here I am now home with 2 jp drains and drainage seeping from wherever it wants to, a hole which is 3cm deep in the belly button and a one inch yellowish red area at the right side of my incision. I have had 2 previous abdominal surgeries and none with the pain like this-help!!!!!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
