It isn't all in my head

I have had some events involving numbness in hands, parasthesis, weakness, collapsing, balance problems, falling. Have had medical tests that were all normal. Told by Drs. that strange things happen and there is no explanation. When numbness started happening again, dr. referred me to neurologist -- don't know how long it will take to get in. Feel like drs. don't believe me. Any ideas?

  • I completely understand your situation because i'm in it. Check out my post (loss of balance, fatigue, tingling). My primary thinks it's stress but it's not. Hopefully you figure it out.

  • You need a brain scan and a neurologist can send you for one. Your symptoms are definatly neurological. It is worth the wait to see the specialist. Balance problems can also stem from the ears(thats were our balance center resides), so I would also check for ear wax build up in the mean time, but that would not explain your other symptoms.good luck
