well i am 26 years old....
i was born with both kidney's but the one was very small to begin with... the doctors did surgery on it when i was 12 and everything normal... ( the ureter was too small)... when i got older i started getting infections again.. the doctors ran more test and realized that the ureter was closing again causing me sever pain...
so they ran test.. only to find that my other kidney was starting to shut down fron the same thing... so they did surgery again.. (age 23) everything seemed fine again...
but the pain came back... this time they figured that the cause for all these problems was my smaller kidney and removed it...
this seemed to have solved my problems...
but the doctors have warned me that i will have to live with kidney infections for the rest of my life...

Does anyone know if there is anything out there that can get rid of this pain for good... i can't stand it.. i can't sleep at night.. i am constantly lying in the bath for hours at a time just to get some releive from the pain...

please help.... my e-mail is sport0314@yahoo.com

  • My mom's friend has had many bladder infections in the past. She now drinks lots of cranberry juice and that seems to help. I don't know exactly how it helps - it may help to Google it.
