My young adult daughter has been told she possibly has RA. The doctor told her her "test" came back with a result of 58 when 14 and under is normal. I assume this is the RF blood test. Is there a chance it is not? What further testing will be done to confirm? She is experiencing shoulder pain...across the back and knee pain. She shows no signs at all visibly in her joints.

  • Thank you. They are doing more blood work and I do not know the names. I assume this is one. We are just with out primary phy. now. I kind of thought if the RF factor came back elevated it was a good confirmation, but was holding out some doubt.
