My problem I believe is caused by muscle atrophy. I've noticed a weakening of all my muscles but it seems to be worse in my legs. I cannot climb the stairs without holding on and pulling myself up. All the doctors seem to focus on my anxiety, depression, bouts of vertigo, forgetfulness, lack of concentration, confusion, dizziness and loss of balance. I've been to several doctors which include my regular doctor, a second opinion, physical therapists, psychiatrists, cardiologist, neuruologist, and a podiatrist. I had a multitude of tests which included several MRI's which showed arthritis in my back, blood work, Xrays, and cat scans. My neurologist thinks I can't remember because my mind is lazy. I've been on medical leave from my high school job since Dec. 08. Someone please help me!

This can happen regardless of what tests may say. Being called names by docs unable to understand these symptoms is also common. Look at the complete list, compare yours and see how many major and minor symptoms you have. You might be surprised.
