I have had an involuntary squint that I have had for as long as I can remember. It usually consists of a squint and a lot of the times there is some hint of a smile or my mouth is open at least. It happens all the time but most often when I am really tired and/or it is really bright outside. If it's really bright out and I'm pretty tired I cannot control it otherwise my eyes will hurt and become dry as if I haven't slept for a week, but once I do it I'll get a headache. Other than that, I never notice when I start to do it but once I do realize it I can easily stop and control it. I can win any staring contest and I have perfect vision but when I am tired or it's really bright outside I cannot help but do my squint. I remember grade school teachers asking me why I do my squint and my pledge name for my college fraternity was Tweek. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong with me?
