For about 2 years I have been getting intense abdominal pains after I lay or sit down after eating. The pains can come on quickly, as in just sitting down at the table after i'm done eating, or later on if I nap and wake up hours later. Either way the pain is consistent. Feels as if someone is holding all my intestines in a tight fist. It hurts the most when I stand up and least when I'm laying down. For as long as i've had it i've tried to connect it with a certain food. But with no luck, i'm starting to believe it has something to actually do with my digestion. I used to only get the pain maybe once every other week, but in the past few months its about 3-5 times a week. I'm an extremly active 23 year old girl and have gained about 30 pounds since these symptoms have appeared. If anyone has any idea or advice I would be so grateful!!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
