My husband had a tumor under his heart in 1985. He was in the army and they did surgery to remove it. well were they cut him open never healed all the way. a few years later they reopened him to see if the left anything in there and they didn't and it still did not seal all the way so since 1987 he has had puss draining from a hole that didn't heal and i can't see him suffer. last year went to another doctor and he did a culture of it and said he would grow it to see what he had. well after waiting 8 weeks the said there is no infection. so why does he have a hole in his side with puss draining from it for 20 years. please someone help us.
