I am open to any thoughts - so far the doctors I have gone to have no idea what is going on with my loss of sense of taste plus I have been getting odd headaches at the back of my head. All of this has been going on for almost a year. I can smell fine but no taste but there are some foods I eat and they are so bitter that I can't even eat anymore. This is so frustrating...........

  • I hope you are seeing a neurologist? It seems like a brain/nerve problem. Kymmaree

  • I read your message because I too am experiencing this at the moment. I had a cold a month ago and got over that but never regained my sense of taste. I can smell fine and I dont have a blocked nose. But i have had odd symptoms I notice every day like odd headaches, my right arm falls asleep really easily and I get tired a lot. anyway Food has a very bland taste now. I can still taste sweet from sour but taste is so distant. Its really strange and hard to describe and i haven't seen a doctor yet.
