  • I'm sorry I can't give you an answer, but I can offer some suggestions. I also experience joint pain, especially in damp weather. I'm 22 and have been tested for Lyme disease, arthritis, lupus, etc...all the usual suspects and some of the unusual ones. I don't have a diagnosis yet, but here are some things that have helped me to manage it:-- Take a warm bath when you really hurt. I use Burt's Bees Therapeutic Bath Crystals...the smell is wonderful and the formula is very relaxing. Stay in the water as long as you need to, but don't fall asleep. ;)-- Stay in if certain weather conditions aggravate your symptoms. No point in making things worse if you can avoid it.-- Do some light exercise. I know it sounds like crazy advice to someone in pain, but my symptoms seem to be less frequent when I'm on a regular exercise program.-- If you're in a lot of pain, take three Advil and lay down. DO NOT exceed the max daily dosage that's on the bottle. My doctor recommended this to me, but stressed that it's dangerous to take that many Advil at once for more than a day (remember it can cause stomach bleeding). It's definitely a last resort. And of course, get tested for things! Talk to your doctor about what other conditions could be causing your symptoms, and get tested for those, no matter how bizarre they seem. Don't give up!Good luck and God bless. :)

  • you can go swimming for the light exercise it will not hurt and it can increase blood flow which can help. this would be better if working out hurts. it works out all the muscles in your body without hurting you and they say its the best exercise in the world. good luck I hope you feel better and ask to see an orthopedic specialist they can help!

  • although I never got a definitive diagnosis I had similar problems when I was your age. In fact it got so bad I could barely funtion. I gave up on medical doctors because I was getting nowhere. My room mate brought home a book called "The Arthritics Cookbook" I went on an allergy diet and within two weeks was pain free. I am 45 today and still have pain at times and still annoyed by never being diagnosed but.. .. I am not in a wheel chair as doctors told me I would be, my bones are not crooked, my fingers only slightly bent and I can do most anything I want to. The key, however, for me, is what I eat. The things you love the most are probably the problem. If you are truly at the end of your rope, try this. I hope it helps.

  • Have you ever been examined forFibromyalgia syndrome...look this up under Web MD on the internet then check your symptoms.... and but to be formally diagnosed...you need a Rheumatologist to check you out for it. Sounds like the right arthritic tests were done and i'm not surprised they were negative.....Fibromyalgia....will give you negative results with those tests....i've had themhow my Rheumy Dr. diagnosed me....was my medical history.and she did physical examinaton and found tender spots....that they don't even mention at Web MD site....sent me flying. good luck getting answers.. god blessdarbara1

  • Joint pain isn't just for the elderly anymore. Many times this is related to fungus/yeast overgrowth in your system. And with all the antibiotics given routinely, it causes fungus to grow out of control. If you are a big soda drinker with lots of sugar consumption, you probably have alot of fungus and yeast in your body anyway. Sugar is what fungus feeds on. It settles in the joints and causes pain everywhere. It is estimated that fungus is at the root of nearly every disorder. If you notice worsening pain before it rains or is damp, it may be related to fungus as well. The molds increase in the air before rainfall and triggers an allergic like reaction in your joints. I have found taking anti-fungal herbal remedies from a quality health food store to be of great benefit.
