Hello.. I have been expericing a pain like my eye muscle and nerves is being squeezed tightly in my right eye and right calf pain. This pain started March 9,2012. On March 13th I went to my PCP and he thought it was possibly a virus stated " If I develope stuffyness to come back for rx. Not sure of the cause of the right calf pain." March 15th I went to optomitrist performed field vision test on right eye states all areas of eye(vessels,Vvitreous,Macula, Optic Nerve) normal was given Azithromycin 250mg tablets 6-pak for possible sinus infection. March 19th saw Dr. on call due to severe eye pain was given a shot of something that did not even touch the pain. Dr. thought I was having a migrane and I kept telling him it is not a migrane headache it is pain in the eye. informed him of the extreme sweating says probably reaction from the meds. Had a CT scan w/o contrast States (Brain, Ventricles,Imaged Orbits, Imaged Sinuses,Bones) Normal. (Masses,Hemorrhage and CVA) None. Prescribed Hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-500 tb . March 30th back to PCP for same issue prescribed Levofloxacin 500mg tab, Oxycodone/acetaminophen 5-325mg tab, Methylprednisolone4mg Dosepack 21's. Had lab work done flyers was WBC's-12.0(H),Lymph% -15.5 (L), Gran % -79.4(H), Alt-119.0(H) all other normal within range. Went to Neurologist had loss of balance, seeing floters in eye on April 12th had CT scan. Scan normal found incidental venous angioma in the right cerebellar hemisphere. April 26 Lumbar puncture to test for MS. May 2,2012 second lumbar puncture completed due to 1st test not ordered correctly, but did find WBC's at 15 on 1st lumbar puncture. Results from 2nd Lumbar puncture found Monoclonal Gammopthy in the spinal fluid and outside of the spinal fluid. prescribed Gabapentin 100mg cap. referred to Oncologist May 24 had 24-hr urine test, body scan all "normal" and June 7 2012 bone/bone marrow biopsy. low in iorn but shows I do have Monoclonal Gammopthy have to be tested every 3 months. But still have right eye pain. June 28th saw neurologist still have right eye pain, have numbness in fingers, toes, loss of balance, extreme sweating. I was informed by the Dr. I maybe thinking I still have pain in my eye and have numbness in my fingers and toes and they are going to sleep on me. Informed don't think I have MS due to the test all show "NORMAL" prescribed Indomethacin 25mg cap. Sorry so long winded, Just want to know what is going on with me. No longer working due to eye pain and sensation in fingers and feet among other issues. Any suggestion greatly appreciated.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
