I am 71, and 6 mos. ago had heart valve replacement. Recently I developed bloating in my stomach and fluid in my legs and am now quite hoarse when I talk and am short of breath when I walk even a short distance. I am on lots of medicine and I have been told to just "tough it out" and walk on my treadmill. The sac around my heart was cut and I was told it wasn't replaced, but that it would heal eventually. I had a pig replacement valve so I am not on blood thinner. Something is badly wrong; would appreciate your help.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
