:confused:i m a 49 yr old woman . in my desperation i was googling and came across wd website. may be God wishes to help me.. i have been to so many doctors.they have no clue. here it is- after 20 -25 min of meals my stomach gets tremors and my heart starts palpitating.this goes on till an hour or so.after 2.5 hrs to 3 hrs i feel discomfort in my forearms.its not pain ,its a discomfort n i feel like squeezing n presing my forearms.this goes on for an hour or longer.i burp a lot..gas does weird things to me.my blood pressure surges, pulse goes high and once gas is released it comes back to normal . it comes like an attack,i start shaking, become nervous, feel like i am having a heart attack minus chest pain.been to cardiologist, got a clean chit from him.been thru dozen of possible tests ,all normal.yesterday i went thru c t scan of abdomen & pelvis, again normal.i take alprazolam sos for nervousness n sudden surge of b p .surprisingly many a time only systolic b p is high.lower one remains normal. folks! i am living with problem for more than 16 yrs.
in between i just feel fine. last week i took second dose of albendazole ( after 10 days of 1st dose )for intestinal worms as a routine . after second dose of albendazole this forearms problem has come back and persisting.i wake up in the morning with gas problem which may sound simple but it actually has made my life nightmare. while typing this i m using my will power to sit n not hit the bed. i m actually in tears.. some one plz help me.i m alone with no one by my side.

Hello Hope, I've had similiar problems and found out that it was hormonal. However, I started a good magnesium/potassium supplement and that feeling cleared up. I'm not sure if you have had your hormone levels checked out but that may be a start for you. Surprisingly, when doctors can't figure out what is going on with women it tends to be hormonal. If you are still menustrating, you can have your estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone tested on days 21 of your cycle (day one being the first day of your cycle). You may also want to get your B12 levels tested because although I started hormone replacement and stopped, the B vitamins seem to help me. I'm currently taking a B complex by Country Life but have heard good things about Jarrow's and a B12 supplement by Jarrow as well...and a good multivitamin! Hope you are feeling better! I know how difficult it can be!

I hope they find something n I live a normal life.I thank you Ohfaithful.God bless. I've had fibroids most of my life as well and progesterone helped to diminish them in size so that I no longer had problems with them. If you've had a hysterectomy then most likely it is hormonal! That said, the B vitamins help produce hormones so I would give them a try first. Evening primrose oil helps with hormonal balance and some women have had much success with it but that needs to be countered by adding a good omega 3 supplement. Nordic Naturals is a good brand that is filtered. Based on your symptoms, your progesterone levels are probably higher than your estrogen and your estrogen has probably diminished given your age. You also may need to address your diet because processed foods cause me anxiety, including sugar. Food allergies also contributed to to the anxiety such as wheat, etc. When your test results come back make sure that you get the ACTUAL NUMBERS as well as the range. The problem with testing is that the RDA range is much lower in the US than in other parts of the world. Therefore, even though you may come back "within normal limits," your body could actually require higher levels of the vitamin/mineral for optimal functioning. When in doubt, contact a good naturopath or nutritionist to help you get optimal results!

He helped thru u. I m not in the pink of health yet 80% better. Atleast i know whats wrong. otherwise i always used to ask every doctor-whats wrong with me ?They were clueless. My estrogen is also on the lower end. ONE little problem- i tried b 12 supplement three days before ,it gave me itching, even b complex did same thing. someone advised cod liver oil, i m hesitant to try that too. i guess i have to take a long way of good n proper diet to increase b 12 level.DO U HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTION? I thank u from the bottom of my heart Ohfaithful!

I thank u from the bottom of my heart Ohfaithful! Hey there Hope! I can't take credit because I started taking B12 because I found out it helps in the production of hormones and about 5 weeks in I found the forum below! I think the low range in Japan is 500 and they don't have problems with dementia, mental illness, hormones, etc! So your B12 levels need to be much higher. Check out this B12 thread http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=9948. There are a couple of vegans there too. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get enough B12 through diet alone! Most people are also deficient in vitamin D and cod liver oil is excellent for that as well as omega 3's. Nordic Naturals or Carlson's Brands are excellent. Also make sure that your sublingual is Jarrows, but there is another good brand that I can't recall right now However, Jarrow's is easier to get! It is cheaper on the internet as well at Iherb. Jarrow's 5000's cost $30.00 at the Health Food Store but are $12.00 on Iherb! Unfortunately, for us, doctors don't seem to know what to do with women, let alone nutritional deficiences that can directly cause DISEASE! I'm just happy that you were able to get your numbers and address your bodies nutritional needs best without resulting to phamaceutical products! PS. I almost forgot, I had the itching initially but it went away after a couple of weeks! Best of luck!
