  • Hi Julie Welcome to the forum. I only joined this forum a few days ago and have been putting my posts under the thread 'Vitamin B12 deficiency is commonly misdiagnosed'. Not actually sure if I have B12 deficiency but there is something not quite right. Diagnosed with PBC (auto-immune) in 2006 and now have lots of symptoms, i.e. losing weight, very tired/lethargic and also pins and needles in arms / legs which are worse during the night. Doc thinks I have mild depression and trapped nerve!! Everyone seems friendly and there's lots of info on this site. I am also from the UK and would like to hear your story re Vit B12 and PA. Sylvs

Jump across by clicking on this link and join us at the B12 forumhttp://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=9948&page=118There are currently well over 1,000 postings on this site, and over 103,000 views. B12 Deficiency is NOT (as most doctors seem to think) a rare condition. I have left you some (well, quite a lot, really) info on your thread in the Fibromyalagia forum; have you seen it?

  • Hi JJJule, You knew me as Alchemist. Welcome aboard. All of the b12 deficiency symtoms are recognized and respected here, not limited to PA or what makes laboratory detectable changes. We are all experimenting to get cured and healed at all levels. I just changed what I'm doing this very day because of something Kevin posted. People's inputs are valued even if somebody disagrees with them. We are after what works well and predictably, not what protects 50 year old research or somebody's housebrand vitamins. Everybody's results are important in understanding this disorder. Our hosts here at wrongdiagnosis.com have been quite generous in supporting the free interchange of ideas without more than trivial automatic censorship for a few words can be quite funny when embedded in other words.
