Hi everyone my name is Amanda I'm 26 years old. I was diagnosed with DFSP ( Dermatofibrossarcoma protuberans) when I was 16 years old. These tumors keep coming back. I have had a total of 4 surgeries, and 3 tumors. 2 on my right arm and 1 on my left arm. And recently within the past week I have noticed yet another tumor pop up on my right arm. I am currently looking for a specalist in my area to preform another surgery... I was wondering if anyone on this board suffers from DFSP and knows if these tumors are going to keep on coming back? It's just a little alarming that these things just keep coming back. If anyone could help me I would appriciate it. Or if anyone has anymore information on DFSP please email me at imrebelred@yahoo.com...
Thank you so much for reading..

Amanda

  • Does it run in your family? My sister has something like that...and her father and her son. You can research it to something called a "tubercular miasm"...meaning...some great grandparent had TB or another miasm.http://www.njhonline.com/2002/may_jun_no3/tub/tubercular_miasm.shtml It appears to be a life-long condition and you need to take good care of yourself with a good diet and life-style. Find a great doctor with a wonderful personality to work with you.

  • You might want to share these with your doctor. It is very possible that these tumors keep recurring because of the proliferation of wireless technology in recent years (cell phone masts, wi-fi, etc...) A Swedish researcher sent me the first two links, and the Bioinitiative Report was released last summer. Thank you so much for replying... Yes I do use a computer and a cell phone alot... I also have a cordless phone at home... I have also done alot of reserch on this type of disease... And what I have found out is it's a type of skin cancer and they are weak tumors..... That really don't have any chance of turning malignant... But thank you so much for the articles I will read them when I get time...

I was afraid of that..... And I am looking for a specalist right now that is in my area.... I have insurance through my job... but I have to have a $500.00 deductable which is standard.. I just need to save up until I have the money for surgery.... It shouldn't take long... Thank you so much for replying...
