  • Trust your doctor for now and see if the antibiotics work. What antibiotics are you taking? A few of them like the quinines (sp?) can cause some strange side effects. I believe you can have pain from a urinary infection. If it gets worse, you may want to ask your doctor if he/she thinks it could be a stone?

  • If you are seeing a doctor and he or she knows you have urinary infection. Why do you need any more help other than trusting your doctor? Take care, dear.

  • Uh, Meg, we are on the misdiagnosis board. Bleeding for a month due to a virus ? Doesn't make too much sense to me, but hey. I feel she has some real things here she should be concerned about.

She might be really fighting off the infection- she might need something extra- like a second opinion.

  • Dear ralph, I do not mean to be rude. But this young lady needs a good care by her physician for her acute infection as soon as possible. Delay in proper antibiotic treatment may develop further onset in her kidneys as well as other organs. Hope I am not offending any friends here.:)
