  • First of all, I suppose in such cases like yours it's better to do _different_ tests with different methods and in _different_ laboratories to confirm diagnosis. No one analysis method can guarantee 100% of accuracy/reliability and of course sometimes mistakes are possible. For example, it depends on the particular method and conditions: for ELISA, PCR, FAT the accuracy usually varies from 50% up to 90%.If you say you have 2 positive tests results, the problem may be the following. (By the way, I know it happens frequently enough for many STD infections, especially for chlamydia or ureaplasma). During the treatment, infection was temporarily suppressed and your test was negaive for some period right after the treatment (maybe because quantity of pathogenic bacteria was below a checking edge or because it turns into latent form). Then, after some time, bacterial infection returns (goes into active form) and can be noticed by test analysis. The causes may be: inadequate treatment (it was chosen wrong treatment strategy or wrong medications were prescribed, the time of the treatment was too short, etc.); your personal property&status of immune system (some people have weak immune reactions). And I should say that in some cases it's difficult to treat chlamydia infection, it may take several courses of treatment and several years of observing. Any competent doctor specialist (who has enough experience) knows about these facts.P.S. If she really loves you, she will be loving you whatever and whenever you did, you do and you will do, even you're doing bad things. This is a real love. But reality sometimes hurts...Good luck!
