hello im new here i need advice. i went to the doctor last week because my periods had stopped and i have rapid weight gain all on my tummy. so many people kept asking me when my baby was due but i knew i wasnt pregnant. i had an internal and was sent straight to hospital, where i had a scan and mri. i was told ihave a huge cyst on my right ovary and wieghing around 20lbs! plus i have a smaller one on my left ovary too and a prolapse womb! im in shock still and was told i need a hyseterectomy it is bokked for 27th oct. Im terrified. i had no idea at all, i just thought i had gained alittle weight. i ve always gone to the toilet a lot so didnt think much of it. my symptons have been, going to loo a lot, wind,bloating, weight gain, pms symptoms, crying a lot etc irregular periods, gettingthem early then late then spotting then they stopped! i do look 5 months pregnant! it looks huge on the scan.the worst thing is i was trying for a 4th child for 2 yrs and wondfered why i couldnt conceive now i know! i dnt really want a hysterectomy. teh doctor says ive no option. any advice please! oh i got my period yesterday and ime suffering form intense pain tat comes and goes. i have asked for a local anasthetic but imtold no i must have a general, that scaresme more than the op xxReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
