I have collogeneous colitis- ( also called microscopic colitis)not regular colitis, but a much rarer form of inflammatory bowel disease. I have been experiencing itchy red spots around my eyes and on my eyelids, on and off for about 3 years. Then itchiness around my ear area. Now a severe bout of inflamed red skin all around my ears. Then the skin weeped, then the next night got very dry and peeled. Inflammation has gone down some- but still itchy with varying degrees of severity. I also now have red spots- not itchy- on the corners of my mouth, and the itchy, slightly swollen, red areas around one eye, a splatter of itchy red spots on my neck, and the beginnings of a reddish 'rash' on my chin ( very slight yet, but sensitive when I washed). Is this related? I'm at my wits end! What do I do about this hyper sensitivity? What is going on? I can't get in to see my Dr until March. I live in an area with no derm and no gastro specialists (plane flight or 2 day drive to get to one). Suggestions- PLEASE!! :(Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
