My mom used to fall a lot and then they diagnosed her with hydrocephalus. She had a problem with the first shunt and then the second one got infected with resistant staph. She ended up having 5 brain surgeries and having 3 different shunts. That was about two years ago but now she is falling AGAIN. Its not like every once in a while its ALL THE TIME. The last fall she broke her wrist in three places. Could this be because her shunt has stopped working or somethings going wrong? Does anyone know of something else that could be causing the problem?
