For 8 years ago, when I was 11 year old I went to the hospital with my mom and the female doctor started laughing at me because she saw that I had a natural lock of blonde hair in the back of my neck among my light brown hair. All my hair on my head has a colour, but in the back of my head I always have a much lighter lock of hair than my natural hair.
Since that doctor didn't want to answer why she laughed about my unusual "birthmark", I continued to wonder what's wrong with it and if it's a sign of a disease or something. All that she told us then was that it is a birthmark and that she had read about it when she studied anatomy. This question has marked me for life, because I can't find the answer anywhere!
I read something about "hair abnormality", but I still can't find the answer of this stupid fact that I care with me.
Can please someone help me? I'm so confused that I think that this hair birthmark has something to do with my personality or that it may have something to do with a disease too...And I want to know the truth for once!
