I've been waking up with lower-back pain for a few weeks now, on my right side. Figured I wasn't sleeping right. That may or may not have anything to do with this, but it could suggest something was brewing.
About 4 or 5 days ago I noticed a sore, tender spot right in the crease of my thigh, but up towards my belly, about as high as it could be while still being in the crease of my leg. Every day it's getting bigger, and more painful, but I have to wait a few more days to go to the doctor, because the city hospital (free) is pretty far and I have to go there anyway that day.
I've never heard of such a suddenly painful hernia or lumph node problem like this, especially since I havent done anything strenuous in a few months! But I definately have a lump there. It hurts to the touch, and just hurts all the time. I have to keep changing my position...leg out, leg closed, leg out, leg closed, every few minutes.
If it's a hernia, and it's so painful, does that probably mean I'd need surgery right away?
Anyone have any ideas?
