Can somebody help me with this issue. I recently had oral and vaginal sex with my wife whllst I had an active cold-sore. 2 weeks previously I had visited a prositiute. 2 weeks after having sex with my wife she was diagnosed as having genital herpes. I went and got myself checked out but they could not test for genital herpes. My wife had tests done at the time which according to the doctor proved negative. Could I have infected her myself via an active cold sore? I've always had cold sores and been with my wife for 20 odd years. I show none of the classic signs of genital herpes and would like to get some further assistance for additional tests. Also what precautions should I now take to reduce/eliminate transmission of the diseaseReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
