Hello, I am wondering if anyone has any information on 'gastritis'. I have just had a scope test done and my doctor diagnosed me with 'mild gastritis'. I have had symptoms for the past year which include burning in base of throat, mild chest pain/burning and stomach pain. If I take antacids after a big meal it helps but I often get stomach pains and recently burning in my throat which is worrisome. What is scariest though is the overall unsettledness that takes over my body sometimes when I least expect it which includes all the above symptoms compounded with slight dizziness, nausea and tingling then this leads to becoming a bit anxious. It is all too much! Is this normal for 'gastritis'????

  • Please try acupuncture and chinese medicine for your problem. Acupuncture is extremely helpful for gastritis and other gastrointestinal diseases. I have successfully treated many patients with this disease. To find one near you visit www.acufinder.com Please look for a practitioner who is also a certified herbalist. Most people with gastritis benefit from taking digestive enzymes and probiotics. It would be worth trying. Best wishes.DOM
