  • Candida can be hard to diagnose, but try to get a stool culture done - it can show if there is candida overload. Or you can try this home test: get a glass of water by your bedside table and first thing in the morning spit into the glass. If you see ropey strings falling down or a sandy sediment in bottom of glass, you could have candida problems. Candida will cause lots of symptoms, including the ones you mention. Do you have trouble urinating? Any irritation or urgency? I assume they tested your urine, but if not they should. A test for H. Pylori as well. A really good resource for candida is www.wholeapproach.com, or www.candidasupport.org. It is really hard to get rid of, but with patience and change in diet you should feel better quickly. Diet suggestions: stay away from cheese and most dairy, red meat, flour products and sugar. Drink tons of water and fresh vegies. Take a good quality probiotic with several strains of acidopholus and b. bifidum, as well as digestive enzymes if you have gas/bloating after eating. Hope this helps.Doctor of Oriental Medicine

This diet plan really does CURE a lot of undiagnosed digestive problems. Some people have problems with soy and corn though, so you might want to have only 1 grain in your diet at a time each week or so until you are feeling drastic improvement.Regardless of what the Celiac test says, Wheat/Rye/Barley gluten and dairy protein and sugar are some of the hardest things to digest, and your digestive system sounds like its under a lot of stress as it is. Temporary intolerences can be caused by unrelated infections, in that case it could clear up in a few months. If its genetically pre-disposed, it can last a lifetime once its triggered.Baked goods are the worst, I can't stress that enough. Put the bread down! Its wheat gluten and dairy dehydrated and held together with hydrogenated fat. It seems convinient, but its like begging your digestive system to break down from working in overdrive.

  • Good to know you have some sort of diagnosis. With the bread/gluten issue, it will take a couple of weeks for you to feel better on a gluten free diet if you have in intolerance to it. I wish you the best of luck.

You have yeast overgrowth. The only thing that cured mine after seeing three docs with no help whatsoever, was to use Candistroy from the health store. It worked and I'm Candida free now. No more itchy, sticky belly button, crotch area, or nail fungus. It was all Candida.
