I am 33 years old and I have been suffering from extreme pain my lower right side for going on 3 years. I have been to Dr's and emergency rooms only to be told it was a small cyst on my right ovary and it should not cause me the amount of pain I have been in. I recently went to another OBGYN and she thought maybe endometriosis. That changed my last visit when she did a physical exam and sent me to a gastro intestinal spec. He did a colonoscopy and all came back normal. The CT and all tests are appearing to be normal. He diagnosised me with IBS. Well, change in diet and using the restroom normallly has not improved anything, only getting worse. The pain is there almost daily, when I am cleaning or lifting seems to flare it up. But it is not real tense. However, when my period starts, with in minutes of beginning to bleed, I am in excrutiating pain. I am talking off the charts. It is all centered in the lower right pelvic area, (Ovary?) Nothing brings relief, only curling in a ball and using heat in that area. Sometimes the pain will radiate down in my hip and leg or in my back. This is EVERY 18-22 days. I have had some wieght gain and I am growing more hair on my chest and chin than my husband. I am upset and scared and getting no relief or answers to anything. Any suggestions? Thank you and sorry it is so long.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
