I am a 29 year old male. It has been about one month since I've been having a problem with frequent urination. In the begining I was going to the restroom about every 40 minutes, however at night I could get about 7-8 hours of sleep without waking up to go to the restroom.
I have not had any trouble going or emptying. I do not have any pain, rashes or burning sensation. I went to the doctor's office and they took an urine sample. They said they checked for clamidia, gonorrhea and diabetes and all test were negative.
I was told it might be from nervoussnes and was given detrol 1mg at 2times/day.
This helped very much, but after the doctor told me to only take it once in the morning I have noticed that I am now waking after about 5-6 hours of sleep to use the restroom and during the day I use the restroom about once every 1.5-2 hours.
Has anyone ever heard of a case like this before?
Is there anything else that could be going on?
I would appreciate very much some input on this matter.
Thank you very much.
