I have had swelling on my right foot around the ankle region and on the foot for the past 2 months. There is absolutely no pain or discomfort associated with it. I am 33 years old and I don't take red meat and have the right BMI. The swelling stays for 3 or 4 days and then dissapears completely. I got a Renal funtction test, urine analysis and Doppler ultrasound for clots done and they did'nt show anything. Today, for the first time I noticed a 3 inch long reddish blue/ purple vein on the foot. It looked like a ruptured vein. I kept my legs elevated for an hour and it dissapeared. But the swelling is still there. Any idea what this is?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
