Flu or what?

I went to the hospital on thursday due to chest pains. It turned out that it may have just been gas. The following day, I began feeling slowly intensifying aches and pains in my lower back area, which later was felt throughout my entire back. By night time, I felt chills, fever 100.6, aches and pains and the general feelings of malaise of the flu. This lasted throughout the weekend. It is Monday evening and I feel shivers, aches and pains. I have not felt any head or chest congestion, cold symptoms or sinus, etc.
I am a 48 years old female, pre-diabetic with blood pressure condition which I control through the use of natural medicines, never smoked nor drink alcohol.
Does this sound like the flu?
