Ok. Here's a wierd one. At least wierd to me. I cut the ends off three fingers with a saw but didn't touch a single fingernail in the process. Now that the fingers are almost completely healed, the fingernails on those fingers are now sunk in at the bases. Any body heard of such a thing?

  • I sliced my finger back in 1976 and had to be rushed to hospital for stitches. Just now in the year of 2009 I noticed my nail has sunken in at the base also. Yes it has been heard of .....Myself.... it happened to me.....That is so wild............... Glad to know what may have caused it.......Terri (must be a nerve kinda thing)
